Abstract
The Article deals with evaluating of so-called “Rebuilding Iraqi State” in the aftermath of U.S invasion of 2003, which was in fact a process of deconstruction Iraqi State and society alike. On the stare level, US occupation administration dissolved state institutions and security apparatus, as well as established a weak authority based on ethno-sectarian formula and enumerated it in new constitution of 2005. As for society, the America occupation policies enhanced ethno-sectarian fault lines, which provided the opportunity for emergence on non-state actors that compete with state in its power and legitimacy. Consequently, these policies have damaged relations between state and society in one hand and among societal communities in other hand.
